Position Available:

Interim Artistic Director of Non-Profit Dance Studio

Dear Factory Street Studio Community:
We hope you are having a wonderful summer! We are working hard to finalize the annual calendar and fall class schedule as we start our second week of camp and our second session of summer dance classes.
We are thrilled to announce that Maria Warmke has been promoted to Business Director as part of her annual performance review process. Maria has filled many roles at Factory Street Studio over the years – FSS dancer, parent of an FSS dancer, 6 years on the FSS Board of Directors, 3 years as an FSS manager and now as a Co-Director – and we could not be happier to have her expertise and passion. Her expanded role means that you will see her at the studio more often, and that she will be managing many of the studio’s processes and communications moving forward.
Factory Street Studio is excited to welcome a number of new volunteer board members. Welcome to: Valerie Wang, Gillian Ice, Andrew Pueschel, Tyrone Carr, Robin Stock, Andrea Diaz, and David Hayden. They join Cheryl Schroer, Danielle Ammann Young, Tresa Randall, and Nathan Andary, who will continue their volunteer service with the studio.
The Board has also elected Robin Stock as President and Tresa Randall Vice-President for a two-year term that began on July 1.
We are forever indebted to long-time board members Molly Mason Hurst, Ginger Schmalenberg, Lauren McMills, and Mark McMills, who all begin a transition to Factory’s Street Studio’s Advisory Board, which also includes Cita Strauss, Elizabeth Atwell-Brumley, and Mary Beth Brown. The Board also thanks Jona Moberg and Laura Hibbard for their years of service as they transition away from their volunteer roles with the studio.
Please feel free to reach out to Maria with questions about the studio and its programming at Additional questions or concerns can be addressed also to Molly Mason Hurst, at or Robin Stock at
Thank you for your continued support of Factory Street Studio. Whether you are a family member, dancer, instructor, alumna/alumnus, donor, volunteer, or friend, we appreciate your part in our nearly 40-year legacy. We look forward to continuing our journey with you.
Molly Mason Hurst – Immediate Past President, Factory Street Studio Board of Directors
Robin Stock – President Elect, Factory Street Studio Board of Directors
